ok i *really* just need to give up on the boot/kernel over usb serial, this is not going anywhere at all...
hah it also went back down to 32°C almost instantly when finished
that is without the main case cover though, which probably influences thermals a lot
cosmos is now compiling a custom kernel with 12 threads and seems rather stable at 57°C under that max load
