i wonder if it's easier for people who know French (or other languages where everything is explicitly gendered) to accept gender is a weird made-up concept, or if they're too stuck in 'everything has gender'

@aurynn as far as the 4.x redesign goes though, glitch-soc doesn't really change anything. Hometown has some small styling tweaks (and showed interest in doing more)
