going to deploy my GoToSocial frontend branch to gts-dev.cthu.lu once again and then it's *really* bedtime
@charlag sure, gmail for example will strip a position: fixed so you can't overflow outside the email content section. I can't really tell if cohost strips anything since I don't have an account, but they seem to give users a lot of options so uhh, yeahh
imo there's also a big difference between clicking an email which then influences the screen, versus scrolling through a timeline where anything could show up (and mess with your cursor, for example)

getting anywhere close to that on 24" is just waaay too expensive though, all the 4k screens start at 27" and that brings it to 163dpi (and 250 euros minimum..)

thinking about how barcode scanners are configured by scanning barcodes, and it's pretty easy to let a place scan your arbitrary barcodes if you stick them onto something (in minecraft)
still needs software but they'll blink on an MQTT message, possibly reacting to the barcode scanner were using for asset tracking/borrowing at the MCH2022 event

fuckk i traveled all the way here to cycle my second bicycle back home then realized i left the key at home...

but woodpecker/drone have gitea integration, not sure how well Hydra integrates
