@kim yeah i'd still have the strong opinions against php and java (and javascript way back when) but then realize how much i hate when people talk about js that way now that i code in it for everything..

@kim yeah it's very good. Also applies to javascript, which is basically the most accessible language to start in because everyone has a web browser...

@CaribenxMarciaX I think it would help if the UI displayed a "send follow request" button instead of just "follow", because a lot of the time I hit the button and find I've sent a request instead of a kind of silent subscription, which to me are vastly different interactions that the interface treats as identical

@CaribenxMarciaX yeah nothing changed... I've had it in mine for actual years now and barely anyone does the minimum effort...

There are many forms of etiquette on this site that differ from the other places we've all been.

One thing that HAS NOT taken off, for some reason, is messaging a person before shooting them a follow request.

I used to have that on my bio back in the day and hardly anyone did it.

If you shoot someone a request, you should let them know why or ask first at this point. With the way this place is
