@unascribed I have a pretty cursed ffmpeg alias that uses 'slop' first to drag select the area.
Main issue is that the file it outputs just refuses to play on phones, pretty annoying when sharing over telegram etc, and have to re-encode through kdenlive to easily fix it..
every time I use 'xkill' im terrified, because if it decided I didn't actually hit a window, it just kills the whole xorg session...
