These mushroom hat thingies are from a super cheap aliexpress bedroom light (80 cents), and I took those and put them on addressable leds.
Then I sawed off this log, and hollowed it out to fit the esp8266 and led protoboard.
Really love the result, it will be a gift for a friend :3

Having pronouns in your bio is important to normalise the practise, not just gor trans people but everybody. If only trans people do it, then it becomes a marker of who is trans, if you all do it then it's just a standard thing. I know it can be annoying to be asked over and over yo do it, but it is important

@chuck It's a general purpose VPN, https://www.wireguard.com/quickstart/
which combines well with a cheap vps somewhere. After you set it up, you have your homeserver and vps in a private network, and you can just use nginx to proxy_pass to the internal ip.
This is how much of the heavier pixie.town services are run, like Mastodon and Matrix, tunneled through my beefier homeserver

finally received the new camera, so was time to transfer everything to the new pink frame, also replacing one of the motors that was acting weird
