re: nix woes
@ln@chaos.social it's a steep learning curve for sure.. the fragmented bits of documentation leave a lot to be desired.
Looking at other people's code, either in nixpkgs or various people's published stuff helps me a lot, https://cs.github.com/ with lang:nix can be useful. And https://nix-cheatsheet.pixie.homes/ as a language reference

also got a small black skadis to mount on the side of the leg, I'll be fastening my router/wifi-ap/extension cord stuff on because rn it's just a big mess on the floor
pretty much got my new desk figured out, TROTTEN manual sit/stand, tried it a couple times and the hand-cranking isn't so bad. Do want a medium sized table though, so most likely hacking on a RODULF 140x180 (because the TROTTEN only comes in 120x70 or 160x80)
