@charlag pixie.town admin decided we can have 2048, as a treat

@pastelpunkbandit i used to be totally fine with the 24" screens too but that was because i didn't know better :')

getting anywhere close to that on 24" is just waaay too expensive though, all the 4k screens start at 27" and that brings it to 163dpi (and 250 euros minimum..)

the great DPI on the Framework has really ruined my 1080p 23" monitors for me :|

a spell cast using the wrong pronouns legally doesn't apply to you

thinking about how barcode scanners are configured by scanning barcodes, and it's pretty easy to let a place scan your arbitrary barcodes if you stick them onto something (in minecraft)

still needs software but they'll blink on an MQTT message, possibly reacting to the barcode scanner were using for asset tracking/borrowing at the MCH2022 event

very simple project tonight, ESP8266 inside the battery holder of these small colored lights

Use a password manager and 2FA. Seriously - if you don't want to get hacked, those two simple steps will get you a long way in securing yourself from non-nation-state actors.

also i have discovered that the domain name gayall.day is available for like £9 on namecheap but sadly I don't have any ideas for it right now. someone grab it and make a new instance

@y0x3y@hackers.town yeah, woodpecker is what i was looking at for my gitea + pixie-pages integration too. But hydra would be way more Nix-specific, so could be worth the effort still

fuckk i traveled all the way here to cycle my second bicycle back home then realized i left the key at home...

@y0x3y@hackers.town Hydra would be the recommended Nix CI i think, it's what nixpkgs uses too github.com/NixOS/hydra
but woodpecker/drone have gitea integration, not sure how well Hydra integrates

@Wifi_cable looking at the source linked by bettermasks.its-airborne.org/ "These numbers are just estimates based on the CDC's 15-minute contact tracing time, which has no scientific basis. And the more transmissible Delta variant (lineage B.1.617.2) may require an adjustment to a shorter contact time."

nevertheless, wear a mask, the best type you have access to :)

@Wifi_cable masks are definitely the right choice, but i do wonder how accurate the info is, because as far as i know the infectious doses are largely unknown (and differ hugely by person)

This is a good argument for everyone wearing Masks, given the numbers are correct.
