half-way into pouring myself a Sunflower Highball (the liqor part, vodka + vanilla liqor) and realize I don't have non-expired orange juice.. let's hope it tastes ok with a Nightwatch energy drink instead

if I ever "make it" in life, you'll be able to tell by the fact that I have one of those fridges with an ice-cube dispenser on the front

lmaoo literally as I post this I look over at the Codeberg room and see a user who got a 424, I guess that's what they use for this exact situation

:boosts_ok_gay: need help choosing the proper HTTP status code:

User wrongly configured their DNS that points their domain to pages. Maybe 424: Failed Dependency?

5xx series errors might be a bit more applicable but that kinda feels like it's an issue on the pixie-pages end

@thufie then why does omnius.zone/ display an error message?

(one I just fixed because I realized it was actually showing the wrong error there first)

@thufie you can't CNAME a site to a CNAME, the first record has to match a pixie.homes site :p

really need to add metrics + a grafana dashboard for pages so I can use that to see if there's new sites being registered :D

(instead of manually querying the db)

@thufie hmm this gets a bit messy, because you can't assume if the very front part of the domain is the default branch name (pages), or part of the repo.. I guess it's fine if a more than 3 dots domain is always required to specify the branch too
