@dumpsterqueer yeah, like a last resort if the instance doesn't come back at all for whatever reason (shit happens).

It's good to do these manual exports but I'm sure everyone forgets, and remembering to do this is exactly what computers can do so well..

I remembered the Eels album 'The Deconstruction' and have been listening to it again for the past few days

until today I finally realized the whole reason I even know Eels in the first place is from god damn SHREK, with 'I Need Some Sleep' (what a mood)

@dumpsterqueer now that I think of it, it would be pretty cool if clients kept regular exports of follower/following/blocks/mutes, and presented them to you when it fails to connect to the instance

@dumpsterqueer in which case backups become even more important because sd cards really weren't made for pi operation and can get flaky at any moment, even moreso with possibly unstable power

@dumpsterqueer@ondergrond.org i can probably whip something up when I have easier computer access again (few days tops)

what if they wrote the vaccination as a pure function, so there'd be no side effects

Today I heard from @handle that the next NLNet grant application deadline is in 4 days -- I also learned that this year they have a new category called "User Operated Internet". I got really excited about this because the last time I applied to the NLNet grant program, there wasn't really a good category for my project to fit under. But "User Operated Internet" is perfect!

I spent today throwing up a rough draft of a home page for my project. In the past I have called it Greenhouse, but I am thinking now I'm going to change the name to Server Garden, because the original thing that was going to be called Server Garden is now on hiatus.

Please take a look and let me know what you think! I know it has tons of issues, but I'm still interested to hear what folks think about it:

@anarchiv now imagine that, but a tent! quality stuff tho, nothing got wet

kinda nonsense, food

this is certainly the year to get (girl in red) summer depression

this is definitely one of the worse camping trips I've done, usually there'd be all these nice farm shops to visit with great snacks, or be in the middle of an incredible hacker camp with friends

fuckin hate slugs! one of them might've ruined my thermos overnight, by sitting in the damn cap, sliming it up
