Windows 10 loses support today, and a lot of computers can’t upgrade to Windows 11. Linux is the solution, but it can be difficult for beginners.

We’re happy to help! Hit us up by DM, phone, or email and we will help you install Linux on your old Windows 10 machine.

We’d recommend the following:
- a USB thumb drive at least 8GB in size you can erase everything on it
- a backup hard drive to store all your data, just in case
- an afternoon

Good Linux starter distros:
- Linux Mint
- Elementary OS
- Fedora Workstation
- Bazzite(best for gaming PCs)

Back up the data on your Windows machine by copying C:\Users\ (your username or account folder) to an external drive. If there’s more than one account, copy them too.

You can report AI generated slop web results in duckduckgo under the triple-dots "caterpillar menu". This improves the spam reduction capability of https://noai.duckduckgo.com/ and other searches with an AI-generated content filter enabled. So at least no other human has to see that nonsense again.

I'm looking for a lawyer, specialising in contract law, specifically one that is licensed in the state of Illinois, USA. Someone friendly to free software and knowledgeable about technology in terms of legal matters.

Question and/or maybe help:

I would *really* like to get off YouTube and shift my video scrolling to #peerTube but the cognitive/executive function hump to get there is beyond me.

Would it be possible for somebody else to set me up an account on an appropriate server (I might have a few vids to share myself) and find a bunch of fun follows (ppl nerding out in their special interests n whatnot) and then transfer the account over to me?
Is that logistically feasible?
Anybody wanna do it?
