Discord being down seems like a good time to remind y'all to have alternative means of contact and accessing information.
Discord is not a replacement for a website. It's not the only messaging service you'll ever need. Have a backup plan for whenever Discord goes boom, whether that's for an hour or for much longer.

There's been an estradot patch shortage in Canada for the past month. How on earth did I not hear about this at all?
I'm getting the last few boxes in stock at my pharmacy--the pharmacist insisted I take them all despite me saying I should be good with one since the estimated resolution is in a week. I worry it's not actually going to be resolved anytime soon
