I’ve had several people tell me they can’t see my avatar lately, this is a federation bug.
You can force the server to fetch an account’s details by putting its full url (for example, mine is https://rage.love/@Siph) in your Mastodon server’s search bar. Try this if you’re confused about someone not having an avatar anymore !
