@bunny_jane Like, literally, I even found the entrance to the tower, but I didn't get the hint at first and assumed I needed to fulfill some other goal to unlock it, so I went back and wandered until I ended up getting the ascendant light by the power of Sybil's thighs alone, only to come back and realize I could find a way in the whole time

I will note, the bypass was entirely incidental and I was locked in to beating up Ridley without wave beam or varia suit so I just rolled with it all the way to the end
Picked up Metroid Zero MIssion on my steam deck on a whim, ended up bypassing most of norfair and landing a time of 1:56. Not bad after not playing for... I've lost count of how many years
