@trysdyn Yeah, doesn't help that Wayland's very exclusive about input handling and sandboxed it to the active window only, which kind of made any prospects of alternative HIDs or even global hotkeys impossible. I'm looking into it now and I think it might be possible to do something by hooking into libinput directly? I don't know how Synergy does it right now

@trysdyn Is the issue that you want to move to Wayland? I'm guessing the existing compatibility layers don't work for Synergy, given my past experiences with it. Idk if they ever even added drawing tablet support since then...

@modernmodron petal crash is like that but the elevator from willy wonka's chocolate factory

@fluffy @typhlosion Yeah, I once considered a Pi400 for that very task myself, but the composite video not being broken out in any fashion was a dealbreaker since my whole plan was to use it with my old Amiga monitor

Maybe if they ever release a revision with the TRRS jack added back in...

@typhlosion I have an old C64 and media in storage back in Seattle, but I'm not sure if any of it's still even readable... I'd say it'd be worth looking into getting an SD2IEC instead of a regular 1541 floppy disk drive as such

Moreover, there are different revisions out there with different SID chips (6581 vs. 8580), where the latter corrects a voltage bias that was used to generate pseudo-PCM audio, rendering anything that used the trick nigh-inaudible

@Maddyflen Yee! I do go on walks occasionally to see if I can find any, but spring has been pretty late so it hasn't been a good time for finding them.

Pondering what it'd be like to raise and release native silkmoths... just wanna see a cute rosy maple...

As she made her way to the greenhouse, poppies and peonies turned their heads to follow her.

Inside, succulent plantlings unpotted themselves and tottered over on mobile roots to crowd around her legs.

'What's got you all worked up?'

A plantling gestured with a root toward the nursery tray. She picked up a little eggcup planter where a tiny seedling had just sprouted.

'Welcome,' she said. She touched it with a gentle finger and it curled its leaf around the tip.
