I also dreamt I was in city 17 and got poked by stunsticks until I suffered cardiac arrest because the combine thought my spasms and screaming was entertaining, though thankfully it shifted to a third-person novel perspective by the end.

Dreamt about a weird alternate universe threads of fate that probably was directed by Masato Kato

Doll Master and co. Had more forces and a floating fortress made by a magician studying Valen in the past. Rue, Mint, and Rod stormed the fortress together, but ended up caught in a conflict between Doll Master's generals and ended up in a rigged fight between all of them at once in a massive free-for-all

Once Doll Master came to sort things out, Rue apologized for exacerbating the conflict and begged him to resurrect Claire even if it costs his own life, Psycho Master confirmed the events, and Doll Master was just fed up with the melodrama and called a truce before taking Rue to his room to talk as brothers

Most interestingly, a man in xenogears-esque obscuring helmet and mask of woven straps came aboard the fortress unannounced and joined Doll Master after Rue cried himself to sleep, and the two waxed exposition about the aeons blasting each other back to the stone age in antiquity and events being set to repeat itself. He then revealed himself to be a thick-necked, bushy-moustached greying old man who was a relic hunter that inadvertently awoke Rue and Doll Master, and theoretically host to another aeon's consciousness (this clown going full xenogears)

Anyway eventually the truce breaks down and more fighting ensues, Doll Master unseals Valen's citadel, things roughly go on as in canon, but a stinger clip shows the masked relic hunter (since having lost his aeon) standing and walking on the (now-grounded) fortress's wall using Doll Master's animations, implying he found Doll Master during the ending and became host to him after his demise
