one thing that really fucks me up about nfts and blockchain shit is that it recontextualizes everything to be transactional. things have no value other than what they sell for. there's no room for people doing things because they like it, or because they want people to read it.
i saw someone say that it "finally brings scarcity to the digital space" and .. ? that's bad. you can see how that's bad right? i dont want my stuff to be scarce!
the first step should always be "i want to do a thing" and not "i want to sell a thing"
