I make a lot of use of timed mutes. It's a great feature and you should use it too.

Sometimes there's this pattern where I keep re-muting people and it would be nice if mastodon would show me some statistics on how long I've been doing that for because like eventually you gotta ask yourself if this is just something they're going through in the moment or if that's just, like, who they are now and maybe it's time to part ways.

@ErosBlog they don't learn anything because the mummies on the board of shareholders behind these things are too calcified to

@Nifflas@mastodon.gamedev.place If this is looking at total/current beats then it's probably fine to just render it as a 0-indexed format with "Beat x/y"

@Nifflas@mastodon.gamedev.place Is there a reason you don't want to change the numbers? Because If you're applying this in a string formatting method, you can always do the operation in the arguments, such as printf("%d/%d", x+1, y)

Unless you need this to be machine-readable, in which case... "Length: y; Index: x"?

Bumblebee says howdy

I love it when they stick one of their legs straight out like this. Reminds me of so many things: riding a mechanical bull with one arm in the air, a ballerina stretching a leg straight up, a very friendly wave hello.

I keep writing silly crossover ficlets

This time it's Solatorobo/Fuga, with Red and Malt roughly switching places at major crossing points due to Weird Time Shit

I casually thought to check my non-local users and came across this

awakari_discover @universeodon.com

the same scraper service trying to evade blocks (although it is obviously visible)

I don't know whether the instance hosting is aware, but I'd at least block the account on instance level

Oh! and they're also on .social
