@monsterblue it's not quite all the way there, but Sun Haven lets you be an animal-person and befriend a giant dragon

If you want to use it, as well, you can find a zip-file with all the used images and splash screen along with a short info txt in a zip-file here:

Libbie art done by Tyson Tan: tysontan.com
Splash screen is LibreOffice's original splash screen with Libbie tacked on.

More info on all that in the readme file. Tyson Tan's Libbieart is licenced under CC0 licence, but I have no clue about the original splash screen, so, just for personal use unless you know better. 😅

I said everything is better with a mascot, right? 😁

I learned that Tyson Tan, the artist that, among other things, did the KDE and Krita mascot, also designed a mascot, Libbie, for LibreOffice, but the mascot contest was cancelled because stuff wasn't "professional enough" or something. BUT all his art was available, thus, I took inspiration by this (outdated) project github.com/sdomi/libbieoffice and set my own Libbie Splash & Icons with his artwork.

Download and info in reply.

@sailormavis@mastodon.art yeah, they got some serious issues they need to work out, they certainly had no right to lash out at you for asking a perfectly good question and respectfully stepping out

@sailormavis@mastodon.art that fucking sucks. What's gotten people so weirdly puritanical?

As long as you use content warnings and don't break the rules of the service you're using, you're fine in my book, and if the aspec person can say that, then the prudes can introspect on why they're being so self-flagellating.

Content warnings establish consent and they're wonderful
