I decided to move Itheel to the Paradoxverse as one of the founding members of The Paradox Society
But before that, she was the half dragon daughter of a faerie queen! Her mother cast a glamour spell over her to look full faerie so as to not be outcast for being half dragon (but Itheel's brutal honesty & disdain for politics still made the nobles dislike her)

Do you hand-make things that you sell? Do you wish Etsy would *disintegrate* for jacking up fees 30% after a record sales year?
Artisans Coop is on its way to becoming a very real Etsy alternative, a place for handmade goods that is owned by its members, that can put all that "record sales" into the pockets of sellers, not white collar thugs. And i do mean artisans, not assholes who steal designs and get them printed at a sweatshop.

I do a lot of digital art that's mostly sweet and sometimes a little spicy, including an in-progress webcomic, Terraform, and other comic ideas I'm workshopping.

This was too ambitious of a level of detail for free artwork, and as such only were able to do a limited amount. I'm so sorry ;_;. I still love doing free art but I should always keep scope in mind with limits.
I wanted to do a batch of free art of characters! Don't have to follow or that crap, I just want to build out this style format, and the best way to do that is with characters I haven't created.

@mos_8502 Yeee, truthfully I'm concerned about that with my old Amiga monitor back in Seattle too. I was considering taking it back with me on the plane back in May but I didn't have any way to procure the packing materials in time

A recent update to the 'official' apps means that new Masto users are directed to the 'official' mastodon.social instance by default.
It's a huge general instance, and while that may be fine for some, if you're looking for a stronger sense of community or want to find your own people (and especially if you want *really* good and active moderation), have a look at the smaller instances:
They still connect to the fediverse, and they're much nicer spaces to hang out in!

Welcome to all the new folks! Mastodon is a lot like Twitter, but there are two etiquette things I'd like to remind everyone of.
1. Add alt text to your images so people know what they're looking at! Click where it says "No description added" and you can describe the image to everyone.
2. Use hashtags! You can follow a hashtag in the same way you'd follow an account, so it's great for helping people find your work. Bonus points if you CamelCase the tags.
