If you left Twitter way before Elon Musk was even rumored to buy it because of how it was run under Jack Dorsey, it sure sucks to see people mentally rewriting history to say Twitter only got bad after Musk and Dorsey's new platform is going to be paradise

@Louisa god, no kidding. I saw the writing on the wall five years ago and have felt personally vindicated with the way :birdsite: has gradually worsened since I moved

I wasn't even satisfied when Trump was banned, I knew that was entirely to save face and moderation wouldn't actually improve
