@cdmnky God, last time I wrote something more than a quick single-file kludge in Python was for 2.7, so type hints haven't existed for me besides in docstrings

GDscript is somewhat pythonic though and does offer a mix of hinting and static typing (albeit the latter has no performance benefit so it's mostly for type safety), which I have taken up using
