Bankrupted myself in FFXIV last night! Was admiring someone's coloured chocobo then looked up what's involved, and remembered you need a house so you can have a stable. Then I saw they'd implemented apartments so Jaco and I rushed off and bought an apartment each then I spent a small fortune buying the fruit you need to feed your chocobo for it to change colour, and this morning I have a wine red chocobo :D Was going for a different shade of red but I read that it can vary sometimes, it's fine.
And also bought some furniture because, you know, had to put SOMETHING in the big empty apartment space. And now I want to level my carpenter.

At the very least you can make bank selling furniture too :'D
@elfi Yeah, I'm gonna need to do something to get the cash back XD I'm fishing and cooking on the character that bought the apartment, not sure how lucrative they are as career choices, hehe. But I have a low level carpenter on another char.
@welshpixie I think housing items and quest turnins are the only real lucrative options for culinarian >>; alas

@welshpixie that's a mood :'D I made so many alts in the past but then I had some serious burnout so they never got anywhere--the only ones I play now are pretty much Viola Khatayin on Balmung and Iah Lamenza on Spriggan
But yeah, maybe I can pop over when I'm resubbed and say hi now that datacenter travel is in o/
@elfi I have a Roegadyn lady that used to be my main, she's early 60s monk (and 30s machinist and dark knight) but I don't vibe with her as much as the Miqo'te cat dude so he took over. Also made a male Hrothgar just before we quit, I've picked him up again and he's at 30-ish on both bard and dragoon now - you kinda get enough XP from the MSQ now to level two classes o.o And I have a highlander woman at 46, she's a summoner, aaaaaand I want to have a red mage, and blue mage looks super fun...
@elfi EU Zodiark :D Main is Jaxe'a Xhalni. We got our mains to 80 about a year ago then stopped playing and just picked it up again now. I know you can level everything on one character but I'm an alt fiend, I have a bunch XD Jaxe'a is a dancer at 80 and I'm working on his ninja now, he's 65 on that, and mid 50s in cooking and fishing.
