Found an ubuntu image for my Parallella and spun it up, sshed in, got it to run! Then immediately crashed it generating primes on the Epiphany chip. Should probably hook up the serial to my terminal next time I use it.

I guess I have an FPGA to play with at least! Or for someone else to play with!

@bunny_jane anecdotal, but good news is I've heard recently that US insurance companies are quickly opening up to that to avoid being hit for discriminating

Oh right, my new dot grid notebook is 5mm squares and not 1/4", so my usual sprite rough scale is off.

@Decimal oh Deci, darling ;w; I know what you're going through and how hard it is, and I want you to know you are talented and loved by all of us even if your workplace doesn't see your worth, and I desperately miss being able to see you in vrchat and hearing about how you're doing, good or bad!

@jaycie The PPUs? Stuff like in older consoles, no built-in framebuffer but generates graphics based on sprite and tile settings, scroll registers, and so on

I'm having some sensory issues so I think I'm going to lay down and try not to perceive things for a bit
