One of the big gay bars in Seattle's capitol hill area is at risk of shutting its doors permanently after it was ransacked during the pandemic lockdown. Their insurance company snubbed them and the cops naturally don't give a shit (because neither can be trusted to ever help the public), so they've turned to the community for aid.

@kimdanes@the.monsterpit.net If you have an instant pot, you can make some pretty good baked or mashed potatoes by rinsing them, tossing them in on a trivet with a cup of water and putting them to cook for 15-20 minutes depending on their size
It's handy. I'm gonna do it to make stamppot today because I could use some comfort food and my spoons are spent too
