If you can't read someone else's words about systemic oppression and inequality without feeling like they're a personal insult to you, here's some advice – Close your mouth. Stop typing. Do not reply. Do not make sub-toots or start angry discourse. Instead, think long and hard about why exactly you feel so personally affronted by a generalised observation about modern society.

You ever just lie in bed and cry about how moths are just so innocent and precious little beans

Little moth has insomnia, longs for dreams about lämp

@junebug the Ar Tonelico series. Fascinating, well-fleshed out stories and setting with a fantastic amount of background detail, including its own model of physics, and the dive system theoretically could be used to explore various motivations and mentalities in its world and characters in a mature and candid light, BUT

The games themselves have a problem with uncomfortable and skeezy fanservice that starts out as obviously disconnected "marketing decisions" that can be ignored, but gets more deeply entrenched and problematic in the series as it goes on, and the community has a problem with people who will go out of their way to find posts like these on hellsite and defend it to their last breath

These days I mostly focus on the teru tribe, which have a deeply interesting history of their own throughout the setting and are one of the few things that aren't associated with any of the really unpleasant decisions made by the developers... mostly because they're only really used as plot devices orz

TIL Raul Julia played Dracula on Broadway in the 70s, and Edward Gorey designed the sets.

Our house is occasionally besieged by mischievous sprites. One of their favourite games is to replace our food with nasty-tasting facsimiles instead. Usually we catch it right away but tonight I was tired as I got my leftover fettuccine out of the fridge and didn't notice anything wrong until my spouse saw me and shouted "Don't eat that, it's

an imp pasta"

@FrazzledBrynn Oh gosh, what a precious mushroom house! I wanna live in it <3

I am finished!!! I... Am so exhausted, and my fingers are blistered from hot glue and sewing lmao but im in love with this whimsy home #sewing #brynnsews
