@thufie used to have a guy covering the restaurant i worked at (from 10pm-6am, so this was probably his second job). we only ever needed him to stop a few drunk teenagers from throwing ketchup at each other. nominally he was there to stop us getting robbed, but i don't think we made enough money to be worth stealing from?never got held up while i worked there, though i'm told it was a common occurence - common enough to have a gun in a room with "essential laborers".
