Things I liked about 80's/90's computing:
- Total control over my hardware
- Software that worked with me, not against me
- Superior aesthetics (yeah I said it :3 )
- Overall sense of promise and freedom
Things I like about computing today:
- Easy and open access to knowledge
- Insane amounts of storage
- The sheer computing POWERRRR
Now if only we could make these attributes come together instead of being period exclusive.

The US government is holding American citizens (I've seen at least three cases) claiming they're not citizens and detaining them unlawfully for extended periods - weeks, months, years!
We've seen the US also revoke some citizenships!

I'm an intactivist, all children have the right to be protected from genital cutting before they can consent, regardless of their genitalia. A consenting adult has the right to do what they want with their own body. #intactivism #i2 #autonomy
