@MadestMadness oof, I do the same thing sometimes. Then I stay up all night trying to finish things.

Pixel #art source versus how it actually looked like on an arcade, television and early home computer CRTs.

90's PC displays had sharper pixels but still had a mild anti-aliasing effect that should not be ignored in emulation.

Note how the CRT hardware anti-aliasing effect creates the detail of a face on the skeleton's shield, where as the source looks like an incoherent blob of pixels - this was because the artist purposely designed the sprites for the final CRT render.

@djsundog I wonder if you could install a larger battery and make the case a bit thicker. It uses the same battery as a Samsung J7.
Apparently iPhone xs max screen protectors fit it perfectly. I was planning on getting some antiglare screen protectors cut out with a laser cutter if I needed to, but it looks like I won't have to.

And here's my fourth OS in just over 24 hours, Ubuntu Touch - so far, definitely the least frustrating experience of the four

that is not to say it is without frustrations, merely that they are lesser frustrations (why can't I set my time zone correctly) rather than greater frustrations (why does it keep turning off the display while I'm using it)

The latest build of Ubuntu Touch is working pretty well on my . I can even stream videos from my Jellyfin server.

@KittehOwO@glaceon.social RTL-SDRs can receive FM, along with a lot of other bands. I have a couple mounted in my x230. I don't have the antennae attached right now, since I need to find a less bulky way of mounting them. They plug in with USB, and they were around $20.
You need something more expensive to broadcast.

My came in today. I'm downloading some images to try out on it. The build quality feels good, and it seems repairable.

busted for masterminding an international bank heist because of my paper trail of DeviantArt fandom accounts in the mid 2000s

February 6th is the International Day Against Female Genital Mutilation. Here is a video of Soraya Mire, a survivor of FGM, talking about her experiences: youtube.com/watch?v=8X3mOw-XuU youtube.com/watch?v=vgg9g3wrq5 youtube.com/watch?v=KLuLKJa6FL She advocates for the right of all people to autonomy over their own bodies.

This cute dog is a monster. He can open doors and has developed a habit of bursting into the room when you’re sleeping. When I (lovingly) told him he’s a monster, he struck this pose. This is why he always wins and we are very tired.

It's Doom (in Quake), so exagerrated violence

I can see a C&D in this mod's future. :blobawkward:

circumcision, genital mutilation

@Museek@counter.social @XSGeek@counter.social I agree, only a consenting adult should be able to choose to have parts of their genitals cut off. Everyone deserves autonomy over their own body, whether they are male, female, or intersex.
I was circumcised as an infant, and it caused me a lot of harm. I wasn't left with enough skin to accommodate an erection properly, so erections were painful, and would sometimes cause my skin to tear and bleed. You can't know how someone will develop and grow when you cut them as an infant or child.
A recent study found that 11.5% of the infant circumcisions that they tracked for two years were botched in some way: spuonline.org/abstracts/2018/P Before the study, they expected it to be between 1-5%, but there has been little research into the harms of infant circumcision.

I know you asked us not to kill Shitparade, but we had to at least torture him a little :oh_no:
