medical, transmasc advice needed, XX parts 
so tl;dr I have severe chronic menorrhagia for some reason and less-invasive treatments are not working. it's looking like I might need a hysterectomy. I am STILL not in a place quite yet where I can transition without possible homelessness but there is some potential leeway for lying.
I need some advice, please boost.
1) has anyone ever taken E in this circumstance? does dysphoria get worse?
2) can you take T and E at the same time?

Cold outside, meandering thoughts, winter clothes
@thegibson@hackers.town it was a good walk. Cold enough that the snow squeaked a little.
I was glad I had long underwear on. Thermasilk+polar fleece leggings+jeans is great. Also, Mongulai makes amazing wool socks. The gloves I wore were a bit thin, and I was only wearing a t-shirt and a flannel button down under my coat, so my elbows got a bit cold, but it was nice to get out.
Next time, I'll probably wear a long-sleeved knit shirt, too, and maybe switch to actually insulated gloves. It's starting to get cold, and it's nice to think about that. These were pretty normal temperatures for this time of year, growing up, and it feels nostalgic and comforting.

It is cold outside. I think it's about zero now, but that it was colder earlier.
I have been meaning to go for a little walk all day today, just to show the sky that I'm not afraid of it.
... But at the same time, I've been putting off my walk because I haven't found my favorite long underwear yet.
I'll update when I make it out, because I will make it out, and I bet you'd like little night pictures, even if they're a bit lame.

Judging by what I'm reading about hospital capacity, and from the local EMT friends my roommate knows, now would really be a good time to practice IRL risk assessment.
Everyone's already made up their minds about covid risk levels and balances, so I won't harass except to say Get Your Boosters Please.
But also:
Cook and clean carefully.
Watch the state of the leftovers you eat.
Don't do anything stupid with electricity, wires, or your space heater.
Consider postponing repairs and projects that need power tools, if you can.
Stay off interstate highways as much as possible.
Watch. Out. For. Ice.
People are already sitting in ERs for *days* at this point. This won't last forever, but it might be a good idea to live like you're made of breakable materials for a few weeks. Because you are. 💜
