Suburban nightscape with snow, pollution

I went for a midnight walk yesterday and took this picture. Light pollution sucks, not doesn't make bad landscapes.

I composed a mellow little song on my harp. I think it's a really just an accompaniment to a song, but I'm not sure. Maybe you'll like it?

May this year being you peace, justice, and growth.

Around this time of year, I find myself wanting to play more music. I'm not terribly Christian, but I often wind up playing Christmas carols on my harp out of convenience, etc.

This year, I think I'll do sea shanties instead.

@emacsomancer cat-ear-shaped hearing devices for humans. Why not? Hearing devices are much too boring.

Omg, f0x, that will never not look so cool.

Sorry I didn't notice you'd already replied! 😅

@bunny_jane the former! And uh, they can give the wearer just normal hearing, too. That's pretty super!

Hearing aids for cats in need would be cool, too. I bet they'd hate the little headbands, though.

Aaaaaaaa I am so excited about the possibility of CAT EARS HEARING DEVICES!

@SophicLeech this sucks real bad. Would you like help finding resources, or do you know folks locally?

@j3s
:o

I see you've your pixels where your pixels are. That looks so comfy!

Pandemic +

Just ordered dinner while soaking in the tub. Not a bad evening in.

At this point, I don't think I could come out of the broom closet at work if I tried. Literally just asked for Samhain off at the end of the month, since we might need to be available overnight and my boss just went "yep, okay".

Good news? He's cool with it. Bad news? He asks how my Christmas was every year.

@mxm@rage.love "Disability and Progress" (kfai.org/program/disabilityand) is hosted by a blind woman. It's a weekly radio show with an archive available via podcasts. I'm not sure how often she talks about her vision, but it occasionally comes up. A while back (a year or two ago?) there was a wonderful interview with a blind therapist and a discussion of how her service dog and practice work.

It's broadcast locally for me and I enjoy listening whenever it's on. The quality is some of the best I've heard. Highly recommended. Good luck on your search!
