No we can't/won't stop them, its enriching for them.

pilots had to be roboticized when fighter craft became too advanced for humans, too many Gs. A Doll's body is much hardier when faced with increasing amounts of g-forces. a neural connection offers direct access to the craft's sensors and weaponry.
