never mind. bank said there is a 120 day dispute window and this was back in April. they told me to "make an appointment to go in" and i'm not driving 5 hours just to harass my old city's post office into giving me the passport book I paid $200 for, just because they can't answer their phone.

that's a quarter of the money to my name while I'm still out of work and trying to get disability assistance. I contacted the USPS from the site to hopefully get this straightened out, in the meantime if you want to help me recover from this (which i really should do as someone living in the US), my ko-fi is here, thank you.
