re: rambling about touhou (lolk)

@rgbunny I was told "just do point device, dont bother with legacy" and then i turned into a husk

rambling about touhou (lolk)

this formulated while I was watching a friend play lolk and he commented on how fucky the resource economy is

cue me dumping the math that you actually get more reisen shield charges (bombs) in legacy due to the bombs restocking on death.

rambling about touhou (lolk)

imo legacy in lolk is easier than point device because you're allowed to make a mistake and on top of that:

in lolk bombs require 5 fragments to make a whole bomb. in legacy a heart requires three, and is essentially worth three bombs (especially handy with reisen) you get one fragment per chapter bonus reached, bombs in point device, lives in legacy.

what im saying is i run out of bombs in point device and am forced into checkpoint hell, its literally the harder mode for me.

kinda lowkey love how mame doesnt stop at just arcade games

hope i dont need to upgrade my ram anytime soon
