@thufie According to output of coreboot's "intelmetool" as described in the "Get the status of Intel ME" wiki page for me_cleaner, I recieved a green text alert:

"Good news, you have a 'NM10 Family LPC Controller' so you have no ME present at all, continuing..." followed by "ME is not present on your board or unknown" in blue.

guess that solves that

cant believe i re-entered my "working on a low-spec device" era but also yeah i believe it

wikipedia says all intels past 2008 have me but i can find no straight answer on "does the Intel Atom N455 have ME" besides "well it was made in 2010"

did you know theree's a community of people who do CAD speedruns? like you're given technical drawings for a part and you try to speedrun recreating it in your CAD software of choice. yuo time yourself and double check that you got the part exactly right by having the program calculate its precise weight

@theking my mini is old enough to just have a sata slot so i threw an ssd in. really easy to get into the internals too. need to get some more ram, a new coin cell, and a new main battery
