my entire day went out the fucking window

i was happy hunky dorey this morning, I was gonna play Tyrian and battle bakraid then my toughbook stopped turning on

i feel like this is boots theory where because i have old machines nothing fucking works correctly

is it just me who seems to be miserable about computers all the time

going beyond microcomputers was a mistake

everytime i use a desktop computer im put on edge because things wont stop randomly fucking Happening

i want to tear the silicon from the damn circuit board with my fucking teeth

i thought i knew computers but i guess i fucking dont

grabbing a linuxbro by the collar and fucking threatening them until I get an answer

it is because im not on one of the blessed devices where things work? Do I need to use a thinkpad instead of the random hardware I actually own?

so I have to futz with the audio settings to get my headphones to actually work properly but if I do mame stops working.

I literally just installed this distro how am I already having problems doing completely normal ass things

now mame explodes on start with some obscure audio error
