if anyone's into freaky little sea creatures, Schmidt Ocean is doing a ROV livestream from a deep-sea canyon (3000 m) off the coast of Argentina! It's led by scientists from MACN (Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales). (edit: Tons of viewers, like tens of thousands as opposed to…tens, as it apparently went viral on Argentinean social media, you simply love to see it)

what i mean is a trditional X environment does not come standard, especially inside chroots
do i recommend doing what ive done? only if you are the type to take a rougher road and figure some stuff out yourself. if you are a big graphical ui fan you may encounter rougher terrain
i suppose I should update everyone on how the eink pocket computer (made from a Kobo Clara HD) is doing. its been quite comfy. the software is polished and for most of my usual writing tasks it performs wonderfully. a working internet application "stack" is still being assembled but I've made some good progress.
