I'm wirehead, a member of a plural system of about 17 people. We are a queer anarchist system and interested in disability rights and mental health activism. My pronouns are they/them.
Apart from that, I'm pretty much a nerd. My/our body is severely disabled and in chronic pain. We're part of the #EhlersDanlosSyndrome crew. Also all of us are neurodivergent.

When people say sex is a social construct (as in, *sex*, not gender), what that means is that the only reason there is a "male"/"female" divide, or a intersex/"male"/"female" divide, is that people have arbitrarily decided that a certain characteristic is only one of these categories if it falls within specific ranges that have been defined in different ways through history and societies.

there's this pervasive message in feminist and leftist circles - and not only cis ones, interestingly, that oestrogen is like... Good Juice, that makes you a good person, and conversely that testosterone is the Nasty Hormone. this is damaging obviously to cis and trans men and all testosterone-transitioning people, and also to non-hormonally-transitioning AMAB trans people. it sucks, it's reductive and it's wrong.
