Like, I am a tech nerd *and* a supply chain nerd and I still couldn't tell you what the actual manufacturing cost of a lot of tech stuff is, I don't know how anyone else is expected to figure this out
A year ago today, I came out publicly.

At the time, I knew I wanted to start taking steps towards aligning my gender presentation with my felt sense of gender. That intent has resulted in a lot of changes, both big and small, and all of them have been worth the effort. This year has been a whirlwind so far, and I'm looking forward to exploring more steps now that things are settling down a bit.
I'd really only settled on the "agender" label a year ago, but I'm wearing so many more gender labels these days: queer, trans, enby, and probably others I haven't discovered yet. I'm wearing a lot of other non-gender labels more openly, too. I love that I finally feel empowered to develop a sense of identity and to think really hard about what *I* want my story to look like.
As we push into Pride Month, I'd invite you all to remember that the Stonewall riots were about liberation and making space for people to exist as themselves. If you're able, I hope you can make some space for the queer folks in your life: genderqueer, neuroqueer, or however else someone might show up against social conventions. Some of us may not look or feel "queer enough" by some reckonings, and those are *exactly* the sorts of folks we should be making more space for.
I love how all these news articles about scams and security problems are always all "if something is too cheap to be true, that usually means there's something sketchy going on"
As if a normal person could possibly have any kind of reasonable idea of what stuff is 'supposed' to cost in this exploitative capitalist hellscape where every company lies all the time including the supposedly legitimate ones

🐉you can see why with this operation.
If the goal was to catch “dangerous criminals” then why the lucky location? Why the masks? Why the military vehicles for a taco shop? Why were they ready for a riot? Shouldn’t they do this quietly?
All of it wasted on a show of force. If they cared to catch people they’d use their limited resources more effectively.
Resisting deepens the mistake by further wasting their time, energy, prestige, money, political capital. All of that is an expense, and if Trump I’d good at one thing, it’s throwing money in a hole.
Good job 🩵

🐉this is clearly intended to provoke a response. That’s why they picked a location near where #georgefloyd was murdered.
Resist with intelligence. As seen here. Good job. Do not let the extra twist of the knife make you lose your cool.
If they were succeeding they wouldn’t try to provoke you.
Powerful people do not need to twist knives. They simply use them. Bothering to make it hurt is wasteful if you do not react.

I went back and now I’ve got evidence that I, personally, saw the Safeway trolley in Glasgow on the 4th June 2025

Signal (and many other messengers) stores push tokens in their database in plain text. Which allows law enforcement to subpoena them (though signal has never publicly admitted this happening) and then law enforcement uses these push tokens to subpoena apple to get personal information associated with it like your full name, address, phone number etc.
This way Law Enforcement can correlate your personal information with your signal account which means participants in conversations are deanonimzed. (Though content is still encrypted).
If you organize in large signal groups (or any Messaging app using push notifications) there is a high chance law enforcement and intelligence agencies can tell that you're part of a group or not.
I don't understand why nobody is talking about this more. It's extremely problematic.
Apple started publishing stats on how often this happens now. They were gag ordered to not speak about it before but they have changed course (https://www.reuters.com/technology/cybersecurity/governments-spying-apple-google-users-through-push-notifications-us-senator-2023-12-06/)
You can find the stats here:
"As Gaza faces over three months of Israeli blockade, a group of 12 activists is sailing to Gaza to deliver humanitarian aid. The Madleen ship was launched by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition and initially planned to sail from Malta last month, but the group’s ship was damaged in a drone attack. The new mission includes the renowned Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, who speaks with Democracy Now! live from the Madleen."

Technical debt collector and general hype-hater. Early 30s, non-binary, ND, poly, relationship anarchist, generally queer.
Sometimes horny on main (behind CW), very much into kink (bondage, freeuse, CNC, and other stuff), and believe it or not, very much a submissive bottom :p
Feel free to flirt, but if you want to actually meet up and/or do something with me, lewd or otherwise, please tell me explicitly or I won't realize :) I'm generally very open to that sort of thing!
Further boundaries: boosts are OK (including for lewd posts), DMs are open. But the devil doesn't need an advocate; I'm not interested in combative arguing in my mentions. I am however happy to explain things in-depth when asked non-combatively.
My spoons are limited, so I may not always have the energy to respond to messages.
Strong views about abolishing oppression, hierarchy, agency, and self-governance - but I also trust people by default and give them room to grow, unless they give me reason not to. That all also applies to technology and how it's built.
