complete shot in the dark, but if you have any of the following:
a dead phat xbox 360 console, revisions Xenon through Jasper (NOT Tonasket/Jasper_B/Kronos (they are all the same thing))
their associated rf boards (Argon, as well as RF01, NOT RF02/xFreedom)
any forbidden knowledge whatsoever of the Xbox 360's I2C like protocol for communication to said RF board (or you know a guy) and/or the means to access it directly from a 360 (e.g. a logic analyzer or such likeness) and an RF02/xFreedom RF board
and you certainly have:
a willingness to collude with me on your end (this implies servicable soldering experience, a raspberry pi pico, and a wireless 360 controller. the project is not that hard and actually makes my second soldering project, so don't feel too scared), or a willingness to chuck said RF board from any of these consoles, besides Tonasket at me (i will likely try to pay shipping if you live within any reasonable distance whatsoever, so in the south/southwestern US, but this is much less preferable than having your cooperation for the both of us if you have the required experience and time, i believe. i am broke.)
let me know. i'm trying to implement a fully featured driver for these boards on the RPI Pico, to convert them for usage as a wireless receiver, which is a time old project but regardless absurdly un- or poorly documented (not even pinouts are consistent) and usually using some overkill nonsense like an arduino duo, and while i've got most of it down i have suspicions that RF02 uses a slightly different command set than the rest of the board revisions; particularly with syncing; and this is the only board revision i have, so if you're willing to throw an Argon or RF01 at me, try my driver yourself if you have the time to put it together, or record communications between your Tonasket and RF02, please send me a dm over here so we can work something out

15 is bijna niets.
normally when i come across a PDF which i can't annotate or copy text out from, i solve my problem by finding a different publication of the document .

I cannot find a different version of the document. what do y'all do in this scenario?
Pet peeve: the waste generated by appliances for which the consumables and/or wear components stop being available shortly after release.
Think air filters, non-stick grill plates, nonstandard vacuum cleaner bags, ear thermometer caps, seal bag rolls, and so on.
Like, you end up with a perfectly working device that you can't use anymore because you can't replace the one part that's worn out despite it being *expected* that that would happen.
I love the message of this article. Instead of organizations chasing after “10x” “rockstar” engineers, they instead should focus on createing a culture and development pipeline where the average developer does great work.
I’ve seen many unproductive orgs with great engineers stymied by poor dev toolchains & processes.

Probably the most authoritative crowd counting association in Serbia estimates between 275k and 325k people today. They emphasise that this is likely an undercount due to uncertainties in other parts of the city at that exact point in time.
To put those undercounted numbers into perspective:
- That is between 15% and 19.5% of Belgrade's total metro area population.
- That is between 4.2% and 4.9% of Serbia's total population.
@hazel the most fun part is that if you look down while it’s happening to find out the password you can’t do it all of a sudden because that’s not what your head is doing in the muscle memory for the password. your own brain just decides it would like to keep it a secret from you
