I just learned that my husband has possibly the most cursed WFH technique I've ever heard of:

1. He sets an alarm to go off every 30 minutes.

2. When the alarm goes off he checks his work email, makes calls, fills out forms etc

3. When he has finished whatever task he is doing he IMMEDIATELY falls asleep

4. The next time the alarm goes off he wakes up and repeats this process

It's like pomodoro technique for snorlax

Thinking of the people (including so-called anarchists) who are vocally opposed to ableism, racism, transphobia, and other forms of bigotry, but as soon as they actually encounter someone vulnerable and fragile due to being harmed *by* that bigotry, they are completely unwilling to give them any room or benefit of the doubt

Every YouTube video is either "all of science and the entire history of the world explained (5:41)" or "how player two's controller inputs are processed on level six of this japan-only game boy advance game that was only available free with a particular brand of cereal for two weeks in one store (2:37:21)"
