As a game dev: Please, don't buy games that uses Denuvo or similar tech. You will pay for a worst version of the game and a really expensive malware.

There is absolutely no justification for selling an infected version of your product that punishes people who support you. Even more when Denuvo does not work and will be cracked anyway.

one of the most telling things about how incredibly broken with certain parts of the tech industry is that when I was at google, they were ordering customized thinkpads for all their engineers, using a linux-mint-derived OS that they had a bunch of in-house modifications to, with dedicated staff for both that hardware/software and the custom-firmware 2fa tokens they used.

even they couldn't get the fingerprint scanner working on thinkpads.
