The point of a federated social protocol is actually NOT to be incredibly interconnected but to be very flexible in forming sub-networks. NOT to have a massive space but to have bespoke community-owned communities that can still be seen/discovered at-large if desired.

Folks are wrong to conflate this. This indeed runs counter to the world which Meta/Facebook desires/profits! 😓

Hello! I'm in the UK and will be going on holiday later this year to France. On previous trips, I've not needed health insurance due to shared EU agreements, but these are obviously now defunct.

Does anyone have any recommendations for an insurance provider that, as someone with a complex medical history, I can rely on to have my back if something goes wrong while we're away?

Also, if you happen to know how to find out how to check the status of my meds in France, and if I'll need documentation for any of them, I'd hugely appreciate it.
