it's not a particularly tough one, at least in the first two levels
but there's a concept there that i'd like to see explored, a city builder / management sim without real time stuff

weep.
Organizing all your digital stuff into folders is the natural way of things and helpful for you and others so you can more easily raccoon through your old stuff to find the good stuff. Most-recent-first-style mixing it all up in a bucket with the eggs on top is just conceding to novelty-focused constant-production-and-consumption capitalist propaganda
"Much of the problem arises not from an inherent desire among researchers to maximize their publication count, but from the conditions that are set by [those that] determine what gets funded and who gets tenure [...] overemphasis on the size of an individual's [...] publication record as a means of quantifying their research output inevitably rewards quantity over quality."

If you have bee photos, bee stories, bee drawings, bee poems. Today's the day. I would like to see the baby. #WorldBeeDay2023
Just chill guys. Get a little instance for yourself. Follow like 30 people. Post pictures of moss. You don’t need to ‘scale’ this place, that’s the whole point.
Migrating from one instance to another means my #embroidery posts got lost despite still circulating, so I’m going to reshare a few, starting with this french knot color wheel that I spent a month stitching to see if I could make the colors come back around to themselves. #art #womensart
Current situation, your Good Stuff gets boosted and bounces around randomly on people's feeds for a while and then sinks backwards into the Social Media Memory Hole, where everything older than a week is no longer looked at by sensible people but only by LLM bots, spammers and creeps, no matter whether it's normal off-the-cuff banter or Good Useful Stuff
Ordering the whole internet new-to-old was a mistake
I miss the feeling of hearing rumors and myths about games. It was super common before everyone had quick access to information about games, and when data mining was not as much of a thing.
Like, how to get that damn ice key in Banjo Kazooie, or a 70 page gamefaqs forums thread on what was up with the moon and the kids on it in Majora's Mask, or if there was a way to bring back Aerith. The mystery that someone hid a hippo which was incredibly deadly in Halo, and people spent months looking for it (the hippo is a logo on the shotgun shell, which you only see for a few frames during reloading).
I think the closest thing to me that feels similar to that mystery and excitement is Undertale/Deltarune. It really seems like Gaster and such was really drawing on that vibe. I think the slow, episodic release of Deltarune has also worked in favor of that, with so much speculation and rumors.
Just thinking about the Florida shit actually killing Pride celebrations there, and
this is the first Pride in I don't know how many years where it feels relevant again, instead of just an event to be hijacked by corporate interests? So that's gonna make next month interesting.
(remember kids, the first Pride was a riot, and it probably should be again, and you've got 2 weeks to buy uh, Pride supplies)
EDIT: hope everyone bought their pride supplies! have fun!
sorry to keep sharing bummer news, but if you have EzriCare eye drops, get rid of them right now:

Orcas have sunk 3 boats in Europe and appear to be teaching others to do the same.
Scientists think a traumatized orca initiated the assault on boats after a "critical moment of agony" and that the behavior is spreading among the population through social learning.
