I think it's honestly kind of funny the very random mix of things I post on this timeline. Everything from "I am mad about some current awfulness in the world", to "Here's a fluffy story about a cat", to "aaaaaaaa help I can't sleep jrwlkjwkjrlejkrlk", to "hello everyone take care of yourselves please". If someone blocked you, they're saying "don't interact with me"
Blocking is about as clear a boundary as you're gonna get
So if someone blocks you on Fedi, but you can still view their Public posts, or if you have an alt that they haven't blocked, or if there's some way that you can still circumvent that clearly communicated boundary

De vakbonden hebben NS een ultimatum gesteld. Voor 3 juni 17:00 wordt er weer onderhandeld, anders volgen er stakingen.
Er volgen eerst regionale stakingen. De eerste zou dan op op vrijdag 6 juni voor de regio Midden zijn, gevolgd door dinsdag 10 juni voor de regio West, donderdag 12 juni Noordwest en Oost en maandag 16 juni Noord en Zuid.

A large container ship that ran aground and crashed into a garden in Norway last week has been refloated.
Johan Helberg, who owns the house the ship nearly crashed into, said he "wouldn't have traded this experience for anything" as he watched it being removed from his property.
"Get a ship in your garden, and you'll find life worth living," he told Norwegian TV channel TV2 on Tuesday.

I wasn't there, but I've read extensively about mass layoffs after the dot-com boom.
The difference between then and now is that somehow companies seem to think they can keep functioning after the engineering team has been laid off.
I know of a company who recently laid off the entire tech team bar one. The Martian, but it's AWS.
