Yes, you may still get arrested but cops can basically arrest anyone for any reason, shutting the fuck protects yourself so when the cop has to actually prove something you haven't hurt yourself.

I’m so fucking done with all of this. The worst part is that I have no privilege to close my eyes and walk away, as my family is under constant shelling for the past 3 years, with 1 person already taken by the ruzzian aggression that the west is so impotent to stop.
No idea what to do. Of course I have no choice but to continue what I’m doing, continue to support my people and my family, continue to oppose the terrorist state of ruzzia, and all of that.
But I wish I had options. I wish the states of burgerreich and ruzzia would fucking implode with as much riots and violence in the government buildings as possible so they never pose any threat to anybody.
World order is no more, UN means nothing, NATO means nothing, international laws mean nothing.
All I can do at this point is to wish, and to hope.

It feels symbolic of an era where every piece of software is a live service and not something that you can just run on your computer to help you do your job. As in, these times seem to be somewhat gone.

The thing is, if we had a wel chosen subset of browser features which would allow for 99% of all use cases and that got branded and the spec frozen, then people could design for it and an ecosystem that supported it could grow and normal browsers would be able to show the results too, because its a subset of the web.
without that, everyone makes their own subset and half of links/pages you open are broken because they use unsupported stuff
