You might remember the recent reconstruction of Eindhoven Centraal, finished in 2018. Yeah, no. A new reconstruction for Eindhoven Centraal has been announced, thanks to the fund to make Eindhoven grow to 400.000 inhabitants.
Two new railway platforms. A new underground bus station. Much nicer rear entrance. The impression even shows the monumental platform roof is going to be widened for both new platforms. They will also build a fly-over on the east side, so that trains coming from Weert are no longer bothered by trains going to Venlo.

my other extremely normal take: shaming/berating people for their drug addictions is vile behavior 
this includes alcoholism and nicotine addiction (hi im a recovered nicotine addict)
no this does not include bad behavior like drunk driving, or smoking into somebody's face. however i do think that responding to such actions with blanket hateful terms towards all smokers/drinkers/etc. is extremely annoying
request for hookup platform/app suggestions 
Okay, everything I've found seems to be either very straight, very neurotypical, very prude, or all of them, so I'm looking for recommendations!
What I'm looking for:
- A hookup site or app of some kind, ie. it is clear that people are there for hookups and not just (performative) long-term relationships
- Sex-positive, and not prude; a good indicator is having/allowing nudes in the public profile listings
- Kink-inclusive, including hard kink, and a meaningful amount of people who practice it and talk about it openly
- (But not just bottoms/subs)
- Meaningful amount of neurospicy folks, and/or ability to find them specifically, eg. no endless performative "I don't really care but am asking about how you are anyway because that's the social convention"
- Predominantly queer (especially genderqueer), and I mean *queer*, not just "a million straight guys with internalized queerphobia who occasionally want to fuck a guy"
- But not femme-only (you know, the whole "we say non-binary but only mean the femme non-binary folks" thing)
- Preferably non-commercial, but that's only a nice-to-have if it meets the above criteria
Very bluntly put, I'm trying to find other autistic folks who want the same things I want and who are just as tired of all the neurotypical social handshake stuff that often goes nowhere.
Does this exist? I know that the joke is that fedi is this platform, but unfortunately that only seems to work if you're in Germany, which is not that useful to me as someone in the Netherlands... though I'd be happy to be proven wrong!

The role of a community administrator should be one of service, not control. Admins, mods, and other staff are responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable environment for their community members. That must come first above all other interests and concerns, even if doing so requires hard choices and personal sacrifice.
Unfortunately, there's a lot of admins who abuse their power and position. I know many people who've been traumatized by abuse, abandonment, and betrayal by leaders that they thought they could trusted. I've experienced it myself, in fact. You are never wrong for wanting a safe environment. You owe it to yourself to find a space where you're protected and welcome, and that doesn't make you selfish.

oddities in the train timetables: despite there not being any trains on Christmas Day, TfW have somehow left in a little service from Cardiff Central to Carmarthen 
I only found this out when I was clicking around in trainsplit and it spat out the most bonkers itinerary possible to get to London on the 25th
