Maar goed, dit was wat mij betreft compleet voorspelbaar.
Mensen willen oplossingen voor problemen. Fascisten beloven "oplossingen". Dat dat *slechte* oplossingen zijn doet niet ter zake, als de 'tegenstanders' als enige campagnepunt "we zijn geen fascisten" hebben, en geen concrete oplossingen aan durven te dragen...
Waar denk je dat mensen dan op gaan stemmen?!?

Als je nu naar de exitpoll kijkt, dan lijkt het alsof GL-PvdA het heel goed heeft gedaan. Maar de realiteit is anders; ze vertegenwoordigen een aanzienlijk deel van de niet-rechtse stemmers.
GL, PvdA en D66 hebben *bij elkaar* ongeveer evenveel stemmen als de PVV op zichzelf, een fascistische partij. En dat is dan alleen nog maar vergeleken met de PVV! De SP en PvdD zetten met hun 5 en 4 zetels ook niet echt zoden aan de dijk.
Dus nee, ik denk niet dat dit het vieren waard is. Dit is gewoon een keihard verlies voor alles dat ook maar enigszins links van de VVD zit. "Gevestigd links" heeft er een potje van gemaakt, zo simpel is het.
Dit is dus wat je krijgt als je rechtspopulistisch gebral de vrije loop laat, en er als "linkse" partij vaak zelf ook nog eens in meegaat. Dit ondanks dat er in onderzoek steeds weer naar voren komt dat de bevolking groot voorstander is van links *beleid*, als je niet naar de partij-identiteit kijkt.
Echt een beschamende uitslag, dit. Ga eens serieus werk maken van je politieke visie en communicatie, zeg.

And the winner of the Dutch election is... The Dutch Media. They've spent decades hyping up every right wing racist party, allowing them to say the most outrageous things without any fact checking at all. The public has now given the most votes to a racist linked to Putin. I'm ashamed.

Like, seriously. When group A accuses group B of being violent/dangerous/whatever based on what they say, ask yourself "what unspoken assumption would need to be true for their conclusion to be correct?" and then look at which of the two parties that assumption *actually* applies to

@researchfairy honestly growing up with floppy drives and CD-ROM drives, I'm nostalgic for media that actually ejects! if they made a USB port that could physically push out whatever was plugged into it I'd be super tempted to buy it and I can't be the only one
