Like, after two+ decades of landlord propaganda in the political landscape, this is not exactly a low-risk political position to hold, to put it mildly

nlpol

I'm still kind of amazed that we actually have a pro-squatting political party here now

Only vaguely related, at one point I had a game idea that was everyone was told a new zombie mmo was coming out (before zombies were completely tired out) but when everyone started up they were random citizens, somewhere on a map, with everything going fine. A infection point would kick off, and basically it would be an observation on player co-cooperativeness.

The Hollow Knight wiki moved away from Fandom yesterday, congratulations from us!

If you're wondering what's wrong with Fandom and why so many wikis are moving away recently, Hollow Knight YouTuber mossbag made an excellent and in-depth video about the topic:

linux obscure question

On a Linux 6.4 kernel I managed to break #qemu with #kvm, in such a way that booting several OS fails with page mapping errors. Nothing in dmesg. Reboot fixes it, merely reloading kvm_intel didn't help. Anyone heard of this before?

"Nobody knows who does what with what"

-- an issue title on the "making RDF more accessible" repo that succinctly summarizes the problem

Show thread

Note that this is still true for something I am reading that was written under 2 years ago. This isn't just some initial naivete.

It's no wonder that the only adoption of RDF seems to have been institutional and for internal business processes.

Show thread

Sigh. Every other post about RDF talks about how much easier and cheaper it makes things for businesses.

I don't fucking care! Those should not be your bedfellows! Businesses do not act in the common interest!

Oh they're doing this to Romanians who posted pro-Palestine anything on Facebook too

Gaza war, romanian politics, ACAB

Holy shit the Romanian police apparently called Palestinians to "come over for a little chat" or else "we'll come to you" to intimidate them ahead of a protest in Bucharest

A lot of people are criticizing individuals not wearing masks, and not very many people are criticizing the organizations (especially governments!) that have worked hard to convince those individuals that is over.

Government: “Did you train not arrive yet? Don’t eat a cookie, eat a banana.”

Please tell me the government is also belittling car drivers?

It randomly occurred to me that the Efteling probably has the only regularly operating steam train in the Netherlands?

Looking for an inventory of physical books, a "wishlist" feature that I can export or print out, and scanning via barcode.

If it could link with Calibre for my digital versions, so much the better.
