If not mentioned in the article, my father is a diagnosed #narcissist with #psychopathic & #antisocial tendencies by a #psychiatrist. He urged me get away from my father asap because he is not a ‘safe person’ & neither are the other family members who lured me back through the promise of help.They didn’t help they made me progressively worse to the point of almost incapacitation at stage of #illness.

I’ve tried every level of government, every service and they simply won’t help.
Are able help? Please ask people in real life if they have somewhere for me to go. Could they take me in (I can pay small rent)? A lot people have ‘big house, not enough money’ problem. I can help!

Y'all, I know we've learned the terms "white passing" and "colorism", etc. and there are appropriate times for us to bring them up. For instance, when discussing who is given opportunities and why: it's important to understand the realities, and it's important to communicate those to others.
But if you find yourself making determinations about who is "white passing" and what that should mean to people in Black communities, back the fuck up.

To do nothing.
To allow yourself to be bored.
To let socializing wait.
To ignore your to-do list.
To tell yourself over and over again:
'I am not doing nothing I am resting. Resting IS a verb, and it is the thing I most need to do right now."

@gsuberland@chaos.social To be clear, I use the phrase 'raised beds' but it's a little different from your usual (high-effort, robust, solid) raised beds; because you basically never interact with the soil it doesn't need to be rigid or robust, so sticking a bunch of branches into the ground to create a 'fence' that holds back the soil (maybe with a little metal wire around the whole thing) is pretty much enough to tick the box 🙂
(That may still be too much effort for you, just wanted to make it clear that I don't mean the fancy nice-wood things you usually see as raised beds)
@gsuberland@chaos.social Something really neat in the 'low-effort gardening' category that I ran across recently, is the "keyhole garden" - basically raised beds in a circle around a compost heap in the middle, with a cut-out so that you can reach it.
Toss your food and garden waste into the compost bin, along with a bunch of water, and it'll seep into all the adjacent garden beds by itself over time, no further maintenance or attention required.
It's usually used for vegetable gardens but I don't see why it couldn't also be used for other kinds of plants!

There are some design choices made by Trenitalia for the interior that make little sense
Worst: luggage space. Most carriages have no rack for large bags at all! What were they thinking?
They don’t sell 2 seats per carriage as a temporary solution for this

Sorry if this makes me a lazy leech on society or whatever but I think we should chuck the Puritan work ethic, hustle culture, grindset mindset, all of that crap. I think people should have time for rest, leisure, self care, family, friends, and civic engagement. We should be letting people enjoy life, not expect them to spend every waking hour working for the sake of work because idle hands do the devil's work or whatever modern paint job you want to put on that 400 year old bullshit.
